in our eyes
We have always liked dogs that were intelligent and friendly, with a strong personality and that would brighten up the family environment. In 2008, after we lost an old terrier friend, we delved into the best hunting and pointer breeds that demonstrated the qualities we were looking for. We soon realized that the Magyar Vizsla would be the ideal dog, happy, companion, energetic, audacious capable of venturing with us and especially a great loyal friend to those around him. Without knowing the Hungarian Braco except through literature and because its propagation is still shy, we started our experience starting our creation with the Vizslas in 2008 in São Paulo.
We had never met with so much affection. Incredible! There's no way not to fall in love! He was simply an amazing puppy, extremely intelligent and quick-witted. It didn't take long before little Vizsla became fearless, muscular, respectful, and was responding to simple domestic commands, soon respecting the walk, the leash, his space, where he can swim, commands without voice and, when we came across it, he had assimilated advanced commands, including those of hunting "points" or those of domestic ease and handling, "pee" wherever we commanded, with obedience training and confidence in open spaces.
Vizsla's energy is something contagious, always ready for any type of activity, from an entire afternoon sitting next to the owner, to consecutive hours of swimming in the sea, waterfalls and rivers. From then on, imports and genetic improvement were carried out in the Magyar Vidam squad, capable of translating excellence and the Breed Standard to the fullest. Beautiful specimens are handpicked, in temperament, phenotypes, combination of lines and general characteristics of each specimen are our priority in breeding.
The Magyar Vidám Kennel (the Happy Hungarian) guarantees the good genetics, from America and Europe, capable of transmitting the unique qualities of the Hungarian Pointer that made him a great star of international Cinophilia. We are located in São Paulo. We follow strict quality and hygiene standards in creating Vizslas, as well as providing the best family, loving and healthy environment for your new friend.
